From the Cat’s Cradle to Schoolkids Records, the bands are
alive and available. Our staff works very hard to bring you music
from the grassroots to the electronic. This store has always prided
itself on its Americana flavor in its selection. But as you enter
into the store, you can’t help but be drawn to the heart of
the store, its jazz. Cradled amongst the Hip Hop, Trip Hop, is its
Bebop. Wander through North Carolina, you’ll find a vast musical
history that represents our state’s diversity, but wander through
this store, you’ll find the world. The two prominent radio
stations in town, WUNC 91.5 FM and WXYC 89.3 FM, have influenced
the Triangle for years, just as Schoolkids Records have influenced
the very heart of Chapel Hill for years before and years to come.
