BOARDING HOUSE REACH is the new solo album from Jack White, and is a testament to the breadth of the artist's creative power and his bold artistic ambition. This new material finds Jack White expanding his musical palate with perhaps his most ambitious work thus far, a collection of songs that are simultaneously timeless and modern. Written and conceived while holed up in a spartan apartment with literally no outside world distractions, White exclusively used the same kind of gear he had when he was 15 years old (a quarter-inch four-track tape recorder, a simple mixer, and the most basic of instrumentation). The album explores a remarkable range of sonic terrain -- crunching rock 'n' roll, electro and hard funk, proto punk, hip hop, gospel blues, and even country -- all remapped and born anew to fit White's matchless vision and sense of restless experimentation.

HOW THE WEST WAS WON highlights the best performances from Led Zeppelin’s legendary concerts at the Los Angeles Forum and Long Beach Arena on June 25 and 27, 1972. Melded together and sequenced to replicate a single concert from beginning to end, the three-CD and four-LP collections capture the band at the height of its formidable powers. Standouts include a 25-plus minute version of “Dazed And Confused” and a 21-minute medley based around “Whole Lotta Love.” The performances also capture the band introducing songs from its then-unreleased album Houses Of The Holy, which would be released nine months later.
The first track off the album, I Was A Fool has gained over a million streams and received press praise from The New York Times, Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, Pitchfork, MTV, NPR and more. Sunflower Beans diverse sound has allowed them to tour alongside DIIV, Best Coast, Pixes and Wolf Alice. Their 2018 is filled with headline shows, festivals and a tour with Sleigh Bells. The New York times named them Spirited interpreters of rock n rolls eternal truths, the three early-20s New Yorkers who make up Sunflower Bean are equally adept at studio finesse (witness their recent single I Was a Fool) and raucous live noise.

MCA Nashville s promising new artist Jordan Davis announces his debut album HOME STATE will be released March 23.
HOME STATE includes the singer/songwriter s infectious single Singles You Up in addition to the previously-released tracks Slow Dance In A Parking Lot and Take It From Me. Known for his unique songwriting talent, Jordan co-wrote every track on HOME STATE and teamed up producer Paul DiGiovanni for the entire 12-song collection.

Staying At Tamara's is the highly anticipated sophomore album from George Ezra. This collection was written, created and inspired by George's travels, including spells on the Isle of Skye; at a pig farm in Norfolk; in a former cornflour shed in Kent; a converted cow shed in north Wales; and in an Airbnb in Barcelona owned by the Tamara of the album's title. The Moody Blues classic 1967 album Days Of Future Passed is regarded as one of the foundation stones of the progressive rock genre. In 2017, the band headed out on the album's 50th Anniversary Tour including the wonderful show captured at the Sony Centre For The Performing Arts in Toronto accompanied by a full orchestra to perform Days Of Future Passed in its entirety plus a couple of fantastic encore tracks. This is without doubt the definitive live version of this much loved album and will be treasured by fans of The Moody Blues for years to come.

The latest entry in the award-winning Miles Davis Bootleg Series focuses on the final chapter in the landmark collaboration between Davis and saxophonist John Coltrane: their last live performances together, in Europe in the spring of 1960.
Miles and Coltrane first collaborated in 1955, when Davis recruited the tenor saxophonist alongside pianist Red Garland, bassist Paul Chambers and drummer Philly Joe Jones. This "first great quintet" made their Columbia Records debut in 1957. Those early recordings showcased the stunning contrasts between Miles' spacious, melodic lines and Trane's cascading high-energy solos, famously described by the critic Ira Gilter in 1958 as "sheets of sound."
While the quintet disbanded shortly after the release of 'Round About Midnight, Coltrane was back in Miles' ensemble in early 1958. A year later, the Miles Davis Sextet (Davis, Coltrane, Chambers, saxophonist Julian "Cannonball" Adderley, pianists Bill Evans or Wynton Kelly, and drummer Jimmy Cobb) recorded the historic Kind Of Blue, the best-selling jazz album of all time. And for this final tour the rhythm section of Kelly, Chambers and Cobb backed Miles and Trane.
These historic performances marked Miles and Tran's last outing together and showcased both musicians' incredible influence on the changing sound of jazz. The beautiful music they made together is presented here officially for the very first time.
A 150 gram vinyl version, The Final Tour: Copenhagen, March 24, 1960 will include that complete set on one LP.

The youthful and relentless Hot Mulligan are a four-piece rock band from northern Michigan. Beginning in 2014, they have built a profile by touring country-wide incessantly. Now birthing "Pilot," the band's first full length record, which is due March 23 of this year through No Sleep Records. This record containing their finest tracks is a timeless and remarkable piece of work and an adaptable composition. Hot Mulligan mends the bridge of musicianship, lyricism, and unforgettable hooks. The driving guitar riffs, sweet-sounding synth and distinctive display of percussion ensure the records prominence amongst other 2018 releases. Celebrating the red, white, and Blues Recorded between 2003 and 2007, United We Swing finds an unparalleled array of music talent that collectively boasts 94 Grammy Awards joining Jazz at Lincoln Center Managing and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis (a nine-time Grammy Award winner himself) and some of the world's top jazz musicians to perform blues-inflected versions of iconic American repertoire.
Those one-night-only, live performances have never been released before. Out March 23rd on Don Giovanni, Blueprint is the second full-length solo record by Alice Bag. Based in Los Angeles, Bag is a punk rock singer, musician, author, educator and feminist archivist. She was lead singer and co-founder of The Bags, who were among the first wave of punk bands to emerge from that city during in the mid-1970's. Recorded last year, the album includes a revolving cast of friends and Los Angeles-based musicians, including the members of Bags current backing band, as well as guest vocals from Kathleen Hanna (Bikini Kill, The Julie Ruin), Allison Wolfe (Bratmobile, Sex Stains), Francisca Valenzuela, and Teri Gender Bender.
Vinyl LP pressing. 2018 release. Arriving in the early months of 2017, Bonny Doon's self-titled debut was a warm introduction to the band for many. Hazy and bright, the album's woozy melodies and swirling webs of summery guitar textures were easily ingested as low-key slacker pop. But the nonchalant breeziness belied a serious attention to songcraft, and hinted at depths yet unexplored. Lo and behold, before the ink was even dry on the first record, work had already begun on it's follow-up Longwave, a conscious about-face from the sonic experimentation of the first album, and a journey inward.
